Job description: IT Architect position

Onespire Ltd., a Hungarian consulting company dealing with corporate governance arrangements, system integration, development of existing processes and future strategic funds is hiring experienced IT Architects.

PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for EU citizens living in Hungary, who can occasionally work on-site at our Budapest office.

• Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment architecture development.
• Experience of setting up, deploying and managing multiple environments to enable agile development approaches.
• Possession of either the Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions or Architecting Microsoft Azure certifications.
• It is essential that you have strong, in-depth and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:
  • Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • MS SQL Server 2016 or higher, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes.
  • Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service products such as Azure SQL, WebApps, AppServices and FunctionApp.
  • Microsoft Azure and 3rd party Security experience such as, Checkpoint, Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Azure NSG, Azure WAF and Azure Security Centre.
  • Knowledge of Citrix Cloud, Citrix XenApp Essentials and Citrix XenDesktop Essentials.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates, JSON, Bash and deployment automation.
  • Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise level Highly Available solutions.
  • Experienced in some of the following Data Protection products: Azure Backup, CommVault, Arcserve, Dataprotector, Netbackup, Veeam etc.
• Hands on experience in: MS SQL Server 2016 or higher, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes, DevOps methodology.
• Experience with following methodologies: Agile, SAFe, scrum.

Main goals:

• Provide vision and transformation strategy for Corporate Business areas (Treasury, Accounting, Controlling, HR, Legal), and break down to attainable development projects.
• Design and development of automated solutions and data marts in top-notch technologies (MS Power platform, Azure, etc.).
• Develop highly scalable, complex business applications based on the Azure service stack.
• Design and development next generation of small business applications for 5000+ business users with low-code technologies (e.g. MS Power Apps).
• Foster digital mindset for relevant business stakeholders.
• Successful execution of consulting tasks on IT and business development projects at market-leading companies (Industries: Energy, Airline, Transportation, Manufacturing, Telco, Finance).
• Preparation of business and functional requirement definition documents.
• Design and drive key digital transformation projects from architecture point of view at Global/Regional industry leading Companies.
• Constantly monitor the market for new, cost-effective solutions that serve corporate business strategy.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, economics, mathematics, management or similar.
• Minimum of 10+ ys of IT experience.
• Analytical skills, abstract thinking, system thinking.
• Ability and willingness to integrate industry specific off-the-shelf solutions to the existing IT architecture.
• Hands on experience in: MS SQL Server 2016 or higher, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes, DevOps methodology.
• Experience with following methodologies: Agile, SAFe, scrum.
• Excellent understanding of business process reengineering concept.
• Excellent command of English language (written and verbal).
• Excellent level of knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation).

Advantages:

• Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Spotfire, Qlik, Rapidminer, KNIME, python).
• Hands on experience with C#, .NET Framework, WPF, ASP.NET, Rest API, WCF.
• Knowledge of IT and database management.
• Experience with following business areas/corporate functions: Treasury, Accounting, Controlling, HR, Legal or other business areas.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and processes (Selenium, Robotics, Ranorex).
